Sundeep Kishan Clarifies Accusations Against His Restaurant

Tollywood actor Sundeep Kishan, who owns a popular restaurant named ‘Vivaha Bhojanambu’, is well-known in the Telugu states. Recently, Sundeep Kishan and his restaurant have made headlines for all the wrong reasons.

Recently, Sundeep Kishan’s restaurant in Secunderabad was raided by the Food Safety Department of Telangana, alleging violations of food safety and hygiene standards. In response, Sundeep Kishan addressed the accusations on his social media platform, X, and wrote a note: “Request my Dear Patrons to please check facts before buying into the “Exaggerated Instant HeadLines Culture” We as team VivahaBhojanambu has built a Loyal clientele over 8 years with our Food & Sincerity, we would never take your love for granted.”

Clarifying the allegations, Sundeep Kishan stated that the 25 kg bag of expired Chittimutyalu rice was a sealed sample and not used for cooking. The picture showing stagnant water was taken during the cleaning of utensils after the peak lunch hour. Our kitchen is cleaned hourly, similar to how home kitchens are managed. We also want to mention that we DO NOT use any taste enhancers (like Hajinomoto) Dalda, or food colors. The circulating images showing these items were not from our kitchen. We condemn this vehemently.

He reassured that Vivaha Bhojanambu does not compromise and remains committed to upholding the highest food safety and quality standards.

On the work front, Sundeep Kishan will be seen in Dhanush’s directorial film ‘Raayan’, slated for release on July 26. The film also stars Dhanush, Sundeep Kishan, Aparna Balamurali, SJ Suryah, Selva Raghavan, Prakash Raj, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, and many others.
