Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao have reunited again for the much-awaited sequel ‘Stree 2’, following the success of its prequel ‘Stree’, released in 2018. Fans are eagerly awaiting to uncover whether Shraddha Kapoor is the mysterious ‘Stree’ this time around.
To find out, we have to await the film’s release, which was slated for a worldwide theatrical release on Independence Day, August 15. Ahead of its release, the filmmakers have now unveiled the film’s long-awaited teaser.
The teaser begins by showcasing the tall statue of the haunting ‘Stree’ from Chanderi, and it is written, “O Stree Raksha Karna” underneath. Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, and Abhishek Banerjee reprise their roles. The teaser promises a suspenseful and thrilling adventure where the people of the town once again face the spirit of ‘Stree’. Tamannah Bhatia made a special appearance in the teaser, adding to the intrigue of the film.
Touted to be a horror comedy, the film, helmed by Amar Kaushik, promises to haunt and make you laugh. The film is written by Niren Bhatt and backed by Dinesh Vijan and Jyoti Deshpande under the esteemed production house, Maddock Films. Slated for release on August 15, the film will compete with other films like Ram Pothineni’s highly anticipated film ‘Double iSmart’ helmed by Puri Jagannadh and John Abraham’s ‘Vedaa’ in Hindi.
