Renowned music director SS Thaman has shared a significant update regarding the much-anticipated film ‘They Call Him OG,’ starring Powerstar Pawan Kalyan in the lead role. In a recent interview with Suma Kanakala on Chaaaat Show, Thaman revealed that the first single from the film is titled “Firestorm.”
Thaman, who is scoring the music for this gangster action drama directed by Sujeeth, also revealed that the song will be released on the day the OG shoot resumes and also confirmed that Tamil actor Silambarasan TR (Simbu) has sung this high-energy track. Initially, the song was planned to be released on Pawan Kalyan’s birthday last year but got delayed, with no updates from the production team until now about the film.
This fresh news has raised excitement among fans who’ve been eagerly waiting for updates from the project. OG, produced by DVV Danayya under the esteemed banner DVV Entertainments, is set to be on a grand scale.
Due to Pawan’s political commitments, the film’s schedule has been significantly delayed. He is currently resuming work on Hari Hara Veera Mallu, with Ustaad Bhagat Singh also in the lineup. Once the current projects wrap, OG shoot is expected to resume.
Priyanka Mohanan is said to be playing the female lead alongside Pawan Kalyan. The ensemble cast also includes actors like Emraan Hashmi, Sriya Reddy, Arjun Das, and others in significant roles.
