Speaker Ayyana Patrudu seeks To Hold Assembly sessions For 60 Days In A year To Resolve public Issues

AP State Legislative Assembly Speaker Chintakayala Ayyanna Patrudu said that there is a need to hold assembly sessions for 60 days in a year to resolve public issues. Ayyanna Patrudu, who came to participate in the national level meeting of members of women empowerment committees in parliament and assemblies to be held in Tirupati on September 14 and 15 as per the instructions of the Lok Sabha Speaker.

He held a media conference with Deputy Speaker Raghurama Krishnaraju after the meeting. Speaking on the occasion, he said that members of women empowerment committees of parliament along with 31 state assemblies of the country will attend the meeting. He said that it was decided to hold the meeting in Tirupati as per the request of the Lok Sabha Speaker.

He said that five or six members from each state will attend the women’s empowerment conference to be held in Tirupati next September. He said that all of them will discuss their problems at length for two days and the report will be discussed through Parliament or the Assembly and action will be taken.

The Speaker said that after this meeting, those who attended the conference will visit places like Srikalahasti Temple, Sri City, and Sriharikota. After that, Raghurama Krishna Raju expressed his happiness that Tirupati is the appropriate venue for the conference in Andhra Pradesh, which is at the forefront of women’s welfare.
