Belagavi: Former Congress President and Rajya Sabha member Sonia Gandhi has been reported unwell and was unable to attend the ongoing Congress Working Committee (CWC) meeting in Belagavi, Karnataka.
The meeting, titled “Nav Satyagraha Baithak,” is being attended by approximately 200 Congress leaders, including CWC members, permanent and special invitees, PCC presidents, former chief ministers, and parliamentary party office bearers.
In Sonia Gandhi’s absence, her daughter Priyanka Gandhi is by her side, providing support. It is expected that Priyanka will attend the meeting if Sonia’s health improves. Rahul Gandhi, however, is present at the meeting as scheduled.
