TDP politburo member and former minister Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy has demanded the state government to cancel the illegal land allotments and leases provided to the companies of former chief minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy during the previous government.
Stating that Jagan’s threat to mother and sister for property is outrageous and going to court for not giving property to them is proof of Jagan’s cruel mentality. He demanded that at least one-third of the property enjoyed by Jagan should be returned to the people.
He reminded that the lease of the government land allocated to Saraswati Power was extended indiscriminately and the industry was not started for six years against the rules. He asked why the government should not cancel the land allotments to it? He requested Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu to cancel the land allocation as the management of Saraswati Power acted against the rules.
He suggested that if Jagan agrees, Saraswati Power 1500 acres will be divided into 3 parts and one part will be given to the farmers and the remaining 2 parts will be shared equally between Jagan and his sister Sharmila. He lamented that we have not seen anywhere implicating father in the ED case and filing cases against mother and sister for the sake of property.
Somireddy alleged that in grabbing public assets Jaganmohan Reddy stood second place in the country. He accused that he has purposefully leaked his letter to Sharmila to pretend as if he is having differences with the Congress only due to fear that the Center may act against him in several corruption cases.
He said that any mother treats her children equally, but fearing about Jagan’s attitude his mother is residing away from him with her daughter.
Meanwhile, former minister Dokka Manikya Vara Prasad said that if Vijayamma agrees, she will be made the president of Jagan’s victims’ association. Demanding to nationalize Jagan’s assets and distribute them to the people, he challenged him to reveal his assets’ original value and their value after five years of his government.
