CPI(M) national general secretary Sitaram Yechury passed away today. He has been suffering from a severe respiratory infection for some time now. He breathed his last this afternoon.
His body was donated to AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences) by his family members. The family members have urged AIIMS to use Yechury’s body in the teaching and research of students pursuing medical education. This was revealed by AIIMS, Delhi through a statement.
