SIT preferring Narco Tests, polygraph, Brain Mapping Against Accused In Liquor scam

The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the AP liquor case is reportedly planning to use methods like narco tests, polygraph, brain mapping to uncover the truth. From the plan written during Jaganmohan Reddy’s tenure for the liquor racket to its implementation, collection of bribes, distribution of shares, transportation in vehicles.. everything has been collected along with evidence.

The accused, beneficiaries and witnesses have been interrogated and the case has almost been brought to a conclusion. Even though the entire state knows who the ultimate beneficiary is, the SIT failed to get concrete evidence in this regard. No matter how much the SIT officials questioned A-1 Raj Kasireddy, he did not tell the truth except for vague answers.

Even after being taken into custody for more than a week and asked hundreds of questions, he did not reveal the real secret. When the investigating officers asked him, saying, ‘Here is the evidence on your character…’, he remained silent. After repeated questioning, he reportedly said that ‘You can only send me to jail’ and expressed fear that if the real person’s name is revealed, they will send him up.

Along with Raj Kasireddy, the list of accused in this case, where nine people have been arrested so far, has reached 39. Key figures in this case, retired IAS officer Danunjay Reddy (A-31), former CM Jagan’s OSD Krishna Mohan Reddy (A-32), and Bharati Cements permanent director Balaji Govindappa (A-33), said during the investigation that they knew nothing.

However, the SIT, which collected technical evidence on the role of the three, questioned them in front of them, but to no avail. Recently, the SIT arrested another key accused, YSRCP leader Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy (A-38). Chevireddy was questioned by showing vehicle numbers, footage at toll gates, statements of people who took money from Hyderabad and brought it to AP, and their tower locations, but he did not reveal the truth.

Moreover, he blamed the SIT officials in the court for mentally harassing him and writing things he did not say in the remand report. It is learnt that the SIT officials, who reviewed all this, came to the idea of  conducting narco analysis tests with the permission of the court. It seems that there is a possibility of bringing it to the attention of higher authorities and filing a permission petition in the court as per their suggestion.
