Siddhu Jonnalagadda’s upcoming film Jack, directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar and co-starring Vaishnavi Chaitanya, is set to hit theaters on April 10. As part of the film’s promotions, the makers recently released the youthful track Kiss Song, with the lead actors sharing insights about the film at the launch event.
Speaking about his role, Siddhu stated that the film revolves around the pursuit of one’s goals. “Every person has an ambition, and how they achieve it is crucial. Our primary aim is to entertain the audience.”
Reflecting on reuniting with Bommarillu Bhaskar after Orange, the actor said, “We reminisced about the Orange days. It’s a pleasure working with him again.” On the lasting impact of DJ Tillu on his career, he remarked, “Every actor has a defining role. For me, that is Tillu.”
Vaishnavi Chaitanya addressed recent controversies surrounding comments on Telugu actresses, stating, “I am unaware of the reasons behind those remarks, but the person concerned has since provided clarification.”
Responding to speculation about a possible reunion with Anand Deverakonda after Baby, she clarified, “That project did not materialize, but I am open to working with him again in the future.”
Siddhu also expressed interest in a multi-starrer with Ram Charan, saying, “I had a role in Orange alongside him. If an opportunity arises, I would be happy to collaborate again.”
Regarding his decision to work with Bommarillu Bhaskar despite the director’s recent track record, he stated, “I focus on a director’s creative vision rather than past box office performance. Bhaskar sir always presents fresh concepts, and that convinced me.”
On comparisons between his style and Pawan Kalyan’s in Kushi, Siddhu responded, “Being compared to Pawan Kalyan is a huge compliment. He set a trend in hero characterization. I did not plan to imitate him, but if people see a resemblance, I take it positively.”
Addressing Thaman’s statement that a hook step is essential for a song to be a hit, he agreed, saying, “A signature dance move certainly helps in making a song more memorable.”
With strong expectations surrounding Jack, the film is poised for its theatrical release on April 10.
