Sharwanand Backs Prabhas Amid Arshad Warsi’s Criticism of Kalki 2898 AD

Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi’s recent comments about Prabhas’ role in ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ have ignited a massive firestorm on social media. The controversial remarks didn’t sit well with fans and Tollywood stars alike. Notable actors like Nani, Sudheer Babu, and Siddhu Jonnalagadda swiftly took to social media, voicing their disapproval and condemning Arshad Warsi’s critique.

Adding his voice to the growing chorus, popular hero Sharwanand, known for his close friendship with Prabhas, jumped into the fray. Taking to X, Sharwanand tweeted in support of the ‘Kalki’ star, saying, “An actor should never criticize another actor. It’s a basic ethic.” Though the ‘Manamey’ star didn’t mention Arshad Warsi by name, Prabhas’ fans were quick to connect the dots and showered Sharwa with thanks for standing up for their idol.

In the now-infamous podcast, Arshad Warsi didn’t hold back, expressing his disappointment with ‘Kalki’ and Prabhas’ portrayal. “Prabhas, I am really sad. He looked like a joker. I wanted to see Mad Max, I wanted to see Mel Gibson there. What have you made of it? Why do they do such things, I never understand,” the ‘Munnabhai MBBS’ star lamented. As his comments went viral, a furious backlash ensued. The outrage from Prabhas’ fanbase was so intense that Arshad Warsi was forced to disable comments on his Instagram posts to escape the relentless trolling.
