Sharmila slams Jagan succeeded In `Mango kaya’ Film, produced By Coalition Govt., set By Police

Alleging that former chief minister and YSRCP chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s mango farmers `paramarsha yatra’ was conducted on Wednesday with the active collusion between the coalition government and the YSRCP, APCC Chief YS Sharmila said that Jagan succeeded in his film `Mango Kaya’ (Mango fruit), produced by the coalition government and stage was set by the police.

Sharmila has flagged that Jaganmohan Reddy has done a lot of things in the name of `raithula paramarsa’ (consoling farmers) under the leadership of the TDP coalition government. She described YS Jagan as the adopted son of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and was furious that Jagan has an illegal alliance with Modi.

Sharmila alleged that whatever Jagan does with the support of Prime Minister Modi will be valid in the state. She said that even if he lets cars run over mango trees, goes around trampling mangoes, or publicly warns that he will be chopped up, no action will be taken against him.

She described his visit as a show of strength with money, not a fight for the farmers. She said that Jagan is only shedding crocodile tears against the farmers and accused the YSR Congress Party of acting like it said, “Do as you beat, I will do as you cry.” She added that this is the ongoing `war’ between the TDP alliance and the YSRCP.

“They will give permission to 500 people. They will cooperate even if they come with 10,000 people”, Sharmila said. She lamented that the Telugu Desam -Jana Sena- BJP coalition government has failed miserably in supporting the farmers by providing support price.

If the farmers are saying that they will not recover unless the price is fixed at Rs. 16 and are complaining that they will not buy more than at Rs. 4, then it is not right to lie and say that justice was done by providing Rs.12, she added.

YS Sharmila demanded that a high-level committee be immediately formed to address the problems of the farmers of Totapuri. She said that steps should be taken to find a permanent solution to this problem. She made it clear that  YSRCP also has its responsibility to the present miseries of Mango farmers.

Sharmila said that the farmers who cultivated Totapuri mangoes have faced endless hardships and have become poor due to the fall in prices. She commented that Totapuri, which used to be sweet, has now turned bitter. If the farmer is struggling without a price for the crop he has cultivated with six years of hard work, it is not worth it to even care, she added.
