TPCC president YS Sharmila revealed that in the first phase the CBI did not include her father Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy’s name in the FIR registered in the cases of illegal assets against her brother YS Jaganmohan Reddy. But, she made a sensational allegation that on the directions of her brother YS Jagan, Ponnavolu Sudhakar Reddy tried to include YSR name in the charge sheet.
She said that as per Jagan’s order, petitions were filed in three courts. That’s why she alleged that soon after Jagan assumed the charge as Chief Minister, Ponnavolu was given the post in a hurry. She questioned why the post of AAG was given in a hurry if there was no connection.
Reacting to the recent comments made by AAG Ponnavolu Sudhakar Reddy against her, YS Sharmila said that he showed devotion to his `boss’.
Meanwhile, YS Sharmila questioned that YSRCP did not keep the promises given in the old manifesto, how can people believe in the new one now? She alleged that the government is selling alcohol without banning it in the state. She objected that instead of Mega DSC, Daga DSC was given.
She wondered what happened to the job calendar promised to be given every year for Sankranti? Stating that five Sankrantis have passed, she asked her brother if at least one job calendar was given? Sharmila pointed out why job opportunities are not being provided to the youth and why they have not been able to fill up the vacancies in the government departments.
She asked why the YCP government failed to complete a single irrigation project during the last five years? She reminded the promise of Rs 3,000 crore allotment for price stabilization fund for farmers and asked have they allocated a single rupee?
