Originally released in theaters on December 25, 2020, Shakeela was launched in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada. However, the film received a mixed response due to its adult-themed content, attracting only a niche audience. Following its release, the film was widely pirated, impacting its commercial performance.
Now, without prior announcement, Shakeela is streaming on Amazon Prime Video, but only in Hindi. Telugu audiences have taken to social media requesting the Telugu version, which is expected to be available in the coming days.
