Senior BRS leader and former chairman of the SC and ST Commission Errolla Srinivas has been arrested by the police. The police have registered a case against him for misbehaving during the arrest of MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy. In this context, the task force police reached his residence in Marredpally on Thursday morning to serve notices.
Upon learning of the matter, BRS activists reached the residence of Srinivas. They got into an argument with the police. As a result, Errolla Srinivas was taken into custody and shifted to the Masabtank Police Station. Speaking on the occasion, he criticized the government for unfair and illegal arrests.
He expressed anger that the Congress government was harassing those who were questioned. He said that he had participated in the movement for 14 years and had worked as the chairman of the SC and ST Commission. They questioned him about coming to the house in the early hours of the morning and knocking on doors.
He was furious that the government was filing cases in a conspiracy. He made it clear that they would continue to question him no matter how much detention was imposed or how much detention was imposed.
Meanwhile, Siddipet MLA and former finance minister T. Harish Rao strongly condemned the arrest of Errolla Srinivas. He expressed his anger that the police came to the house in the early morning and made an illegal arrest. He said that making arrests without giving the family members minimum information and without any notice is completely undemocratic.

Harish Rao lamented that the CM is acting like a dictator by deliberately arresting BRS leaders during holidays. He alleged that Revanth Reddy, who failed to maintain law and order as Home Minister, has focused on harassing BRS activists. He warned that this devilish happiness will not last long.
“CM Revanth Reddy, remember that we are not the ones who are afraid of your threats and illegal cases”, Harish Rao tweeted that the Telangana society will give him the right answer.
