Director Sekhar Kammula, who just marked 25 years in the Telugu film industry, is preparing for his next one. Throughout his career that has lasted over two decades, Kammula has directed a mere 10 films, prioritizing content over volume of output. Though his slow action tends to try the patience of the audience, each assignment of his is accorded special treatment.
Having succeeded with Love Story, it took Kammula nearly four years to release Kuberaa, too, which too had to wait before hitting the screens. A perfectionist director, as he is widely known, he is respected for spending time in scriptwriting and production so that whatever he produces is relatable to people at large.
Marking another thrilling milestone, Asian Movies has formally announced that they will be producing Kammula’s 11th directorial effort. The movie will again be supported by Suniel Narang and Ram Mohan under the Sri Venkateswara Cinemas LLP banner. This will be Kammula’s third film on the trot with the same production house after Love Story and Kuberaa.
Although the shoot has been officially announced, there is no word on the lead actor, actress, and plot yet. The movie is likely to go on floors this year, and complete details would follow soon.
