What happens after Surya stands up for Sokulapalem? And what unfolds between Dayanand and Surya? All this can be discovered in the theater.
Review :
Nani delivers his trademark solid performance in this film. While there’s nothing exceptionally new to highlight, he appears natural and relatable, much like in his other roles. His emotions flow seamlessly, with the primary difference being his impressive handling of the intense action scenes in this movie.
SJ Suryah steals the show, delivering an outstanding performance as the cop. He nails the role with his expressions, dialogue delivery, and intense scenes with Nani, making him the perfect fit for the character. Priyanka Mohan does a decent job in her role, though her character feels a bit underdeveloped. While she may not be a typical commercial film heroine, she brings a satisfactory performance to the screen.
Actors like Sai Kumar, Aditi Balan, and Harshavardhan delivered their roles effectively, contributing additional value to the film’s overall narrative.
The film’s visuals are impressive, featuring exceptional cinematography. Jakes Bejoy shines as a key contributor, with his dynamic background score amplifying numerous scenes and significantly enhancing the overall experience.
Director Vivek Athreya’s writing is the key factor that makes Saripodhaa Sanivaaram a success. His captivating screenplay, despite a familiar plot, incorporates a unique ‘Saturday’ twist that keeps the audience engaged. The way he skillfully ties everything together as the story unfolds will catch viewers off guard. Just when it seems like the first half has covered most of the plot, leaving only the hero-villain showdown for the second half, Vivek introduces surprising elements that keep the audience invested in the narrative.
However, the common criticism of the director’s tendency for lengthy and drawn-out scenes persists in Saripodhaa Sanivaaram. Despite this, the engaging screenplay, unexpected twists in the second half, strong performances, and compelling music make the film worthwhile.
Saripodaa Sanivaram is an action film, but not in the usual sense. It features an average first half, but the second half is gripping, with a unique storyline. Nani and SJ Suryah deliver standout performances in this face-off-driven film. Director Vivek Athreya crafts a smart screenplay, blending wit and action, though the film’s extended runtime sometimes leads to uneven pacing. Overall, it’s a watchable action drama.
