Tamil star Aishwarya Rajesh, daughter of Malle Moggalu actor Rajesh, recently delivered a hit with Sankranthiki Vastunnam. In an interview with Journalist Prema, she shared her experience working with Venkatesh and the support she received from filmmaker Anil Ravipudi.
“I was thrilled to collaborate with Venkatesh sir for this film. The promotions were equally enjoyable, and I credit Anil Ravipudi sir for making it all happen,” she said.
Speaking about her role, she revealed, “Anil Ravipudi sir recommended me for the character ‘Bhagyam,’ who speaks in the Godavari dialect. Venkatesh sir immediately supported the decision, saying I could handle it with ease. This is the first time I’ve played such a comedy-driven role. Even Mahesh Babu jokingly asked Anil Ravipudi, ‘Where did you find this girl?’ when we visited his home.”
Aishwarya Rajesh also reflected on her personal journey, crediting her mother’s perseverance for shaping her career.
“When my father passed away, my mother single-handedly raised four children. She was not highly educated and had no external support. To provide for us, she sold sarees door-to-door, worked as a real estate agent, and even took up an LIC agency,” she shared.
She expressed satisfaction in being able to improve her mother’s life. “Her struggles motivated me to succeed. Today, I take pride in seeing her happy,” she said.
