Samantha Ruth Prabhu is currently engaged in her upcoming web series ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’ directed by Raj & DK. Adding to the excitement, the actress has also approved another exciting, action-packed web series with the same director.
For this upcoming project, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, renowned for her successful action-oriented web series, is collaborating with Bollywood actor Aditya Roy Kapoor, who successfully ventured into web series with ‘Night Manager’.
As per the latest report in Mid-Day, it is said that the web series titled ‘Rakhtabeej’ is helmed by Raj & DK and will begin production in August after the completion of ‘Family Man 3’.
The report also mentions that Aditya Roy Kapoor said yes to Raj & DK’s upcoming series ‘Rakthabeej’ in May, following six months of discussions. After Aditya’s confirmation, the makers approached Samantha, and she immediately accepted the role after hearing the story. Both actors are undergoing their preparations individually and will soon come together for joint preparation sessions.
Samantha’s professional endeavors include starring in Raj & DK’s ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’ alongside Varun Dhawan, as well as marking her debut in a producer role for her upcoming venture ‘Bangaram’.
Meanwhile, Aditya Roy Kapoor’s latest appearance in ‘The Night Manager: Part 2’. He is currently working on his next ‘Metro in Dino’, with an ensemble cast, slated for release on November 29 this year.
