Mumbai: Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu engaged with fans on Instagram on Sunday, answering questions about her favorite actresses, overcoming negativity, and her return to films.
When asked about the best actress in Indian cinema, Samantha named Parvathy Thiruvothu (Ullozhukk), Sai Pallavi (Amaran), Nazriya (Sookshmadarshini), Alia Bhatt (Jigra), Ananya Panday (CTRL), and Divya Prabha (All We Imagine as Light), calling them “rockstars.” She added that each of them brings something unique to the industry, making their performances stand out.
On dealing with negativity, she stated that she does not follow any specific approach but believes regular meditation helps. She emphasized the importance of maintaining a positive mindset and focusing on personal growth. Addressing a fan’s request to return to films, Samantha confirmed, “I am definitely coming back.”
Sharing a recent life lesson, she mentioned staying away from her phone for a few days, which made her realize the extent of digital addiction. She encouraged her followers to take occasional breaks from social media to reconnect with the real world.
Upcoming Projects
Samantha is currently filming Rakht Brahmand: The Bloody Kingdom, directed by Tumbbad fame Rahi Anil Barve. Additionally, she had announced Maa Inti Bangaram under her production house, Tralala Moving Pictures, last year, though no further updates have been provided. Reports suggest she is also in talks for a couple of major projects, and an official announcement is expected soon.
