Actress Sai Pallavi has strongly addressed recent rumors suggesting she altered her personal habits for her role as Sita in the upcoming Bollywood film Ramayana. She issued a stern warning to media outlets, stating that spreading unverified posts would result in legal action.
Sai Pallavi’s response comes amid reports in a prominent Kollywood media outlet claiming she made significant lifestyle changes for Ramayana. The report alleged that she abstained from meat, avoided dining in hotels, and even required her personal cooks to accompany her during foreign trips.
Collaborating with Bollywood producers, Allu Aravind is producing Ramayana, which will be directed by Nitesh Tiwari. In the film, Ranbir Kapoor is set to play the role of Lord Rama, while Sai Pallavi will portray Sita.
Addressing the rumors, Sai Pallavi wrote, “I have faced many rumors about me in the past, and each time, I chose silence because only God knows the truth. But now, it’s time to speak up. If any baseless news about my films, announcements, or career is published, even by a well-known media outlet—I will take legal action. I have endured enough and will no longer tolerate these false stories.”
Her post has since gone viral on social media, sparking widespread discussions among fans and media outlets.
On the work front, Sai Pallavi recently achieved success with Amaran. She is currently working on the Telugu film Thandel, directed by Chandu Mondeti, alongside Naga Chaitanya. In Thandel, Sai Pallavi will appear in a de-glam look, showcasing a fresh new avatar. The film is set to hit theaters on February 7 next year.
