Sabitha Indra Reddy Questions Revanth Reddy’s Continuous Criticism of KCR

Former minister and BRS MLA Sabitha Indra Reddy expressed her anger towards Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. She questioned, “Is it your job to criticize former CM KCR everywhere you go?” She further asked if there was even one occasion during the past ten months of Congress rule where Revanth Reddy didn’t criticize KCR. Sabitha also criticized Revanth’s speech during the distribution of appointment letters to employees, calling it inappropriate. She raised these points through a post on social media platform X.

Sabitha sarcastically asked, “Is it your policy, Mr. Chief Minister, to criticize KCR in front of students and teachers?” She pointed out that it seemed as if Revanth had forgotten to differentiate between a government event and a party event while speaking. “Weren’t the teacher posts that you claim credit for actually sanctioned by KCR? Didn’t the KCR government approve 3,202 posts in higher education and 1,081 university positions?” she questioned.

She added that it would have been better if Revanth had acknowledged that KCR regularized 3,896 contract employees related to intermediate, technical, and college education. Sabitha commented that it would have been more appropriate for Revanth to explain to the teachers why the 25,000 teacher posts he promised before the election weren’t delivered. She also suggested that Revanth should release the list of the 6,000 schools that he claimed were closed during the elections, instead of spreading false information.

Furthermore, Sabitha criticized the halting of the “Mana Ooru Mana Badi” program and questioned why Revanth’s government wanted to weaken gurukul schools, where 6 lakh underprivileged students study. She sarcastically remarked that Revanth should explain why the breakfast scheme was stopped and when the promised ₹5 lakh educational assurance card for each student would be given. Sabitha also questioned why, despite establishing 19 integrated residential schools, the remaining schools were neglected.
