RSS To Finalise Its Centenary Celebrations Plan At Nagpur

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), the largest socio-cultural voluntary movement in the world, will complete 100years of existence on  Vijayadashmi in 2025. The forthcoming Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha (ABPS), scheduled for   15, 16 and 17 March next at Nagpur (Maharashtra) will  discuss the plans adopted for  its centenary celebration.

It has decided to spread its number of daily Shakhas to one lakh in the country by the centenary year. Akhil Bhartiya Prachar Pramukh Sunil Ambekar said that during these meetings a resolution will be adopted with regard to the recent historic event of Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha on 22 January last which has ushered in an environment of excitement and joy.

During the Pratinidhi Sabha, all organisations report and discuss their works, issues before them and efforts towards the possible solutions during the ABPS. It will also witness the election process for the post of  Sarakaryawah (General Secretary) and before this, the election process of Kshetra Sanghchalaks of all eleven Kshetras will also be completed.

It will also finalize the plans for the nation-wide tour programmes by RSS chief Dr.  Mohan Bhagwat.  It will discuss the Panch Parivartan program for the benefits of the society. The program includes five key points for social transformation namely samajik samrasta, kutumb prabodhan, paryavaran, the insistence on ‘Swa’ and the duties of the citizens.

As 2024 is also Ahilyabai Holkar’s birth tercentenary year, the Sangh will release a statement on the same. The tercentenary will be observed between May 2024 and April 2025.
