RRR marks its second anniversary, a milestone worth celebrating for the tremendous love, success, and admiration it has garnered from all over the world. From theaters to the Academy Awards, Golden Globes, National Film Awards, and bagging the Oscar for Best Original Song, RRR made us proud and changed the history of Indian cinema.
As RRR turns two, the RRR team shared a picture on social media from the film, along with a caption saying, “2 years, 2 storms, 2 together shook the world!!”
RRR, directed by the cinematic genius Rajamouli, was released two years ago on March 24, 2022, and set a benchmark for his creative brilliance. The visionary director created a fictional story based on the lives of two Indian freedom fighters, Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem. The film stars Ram Charan and Jr. NTR, respectively, as the main leads and the phenomenal cast includes Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Olivia Morris, and Shriya Saran.
The blockbuster film, RRR, collected Rs. 1,387.26 crore and earned numerous important accolades for Rajamouli’s cinematic vision and the actor’s stellar performances. The film’s technical crew included KK Senthil Kumar as cinematographer and A. Sreekar Prasad as editor, resulting in a visual feast for viewers.
Even though the film has been out for two years, it is still receiving special screenings in other countries, and global fans are still celebrating it. Recently, Rajamouli attended a special screening held in Japan, where he received an enormous amount of love from the fans.
