Row over Congress Leader Chandrasekhar Reddy Arrested In Explosives supply case

Political uproar spread over the arrest of Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee General Secretary Gaddam Chandrasekhar Reddy in the supply of explosives and gelatin sticks case at his residence in Kamareddy on Saturday night. Later, he was taken to Nizamabad jail.

The police revealed that Chandrasekhar Reddy’s brother, Gaddam Surya, is absconding in this case. Two days ago, the police seized a large quantity of explosives, gelatin sticks and equipment from KCR Colony in Kamareddy town. The police have so far arrested three people in this case.

It is reported that the arrested people revealed during the investigation that these explosives were obtained from PCC general secretary Gaddam Chandrasekhar Reddy. In this context, the police, who directly arrested Chandrasekhar Reddy, are currently investigating the case in depth.

The incident is currently creating a stir in the political circles of the district. However, Chandrasekhar Reddy’s wife and former municipal chairperson Indu Priya made it clear that her husband has no connection with the explosives found in Kamareddy town. She alleged that her husband was arrested in an unrelated case.

Moreover, she said that they are not connected with Srivari Venture and that they were being linked to the explosives found near Probels School three days ago. She alleged that her husband did not even have a plot of land in Srivari Venture and accused that he was implicated in this case due to political bias.

She said that her husband left the house when he received a call from the police station at 9:30 pm and later she left after receiving a call at 11 pm that he was being arrested. Meanwhile, Indu Priya alleged that her husband was arrested without giving her any prior information. She said that he was remanded at the Bichkunda court and from there he was shifted to Nizamabad Sarangpur Central Jail.
