Former Minister and YSRCP leader RK Roja Selvamani’s daughter Anshu Malika has received a rare honor. Anshu Malika, who is at the forefront of social activities, has been awarded the Social Impact Global Entrepreneur Award.
The 20-years-old Anshu Malika received this award at the Global Entrepreneurship event held recently in Lagos, Nigeria. Former Minister RK Roja revealed this at the X platform. RK Roja tweeted, congratulating Anshu Malika on receiving the Social Impact Global Entrepreneur Award.
She expressed happiness that his hard work and perseverance have paid off. With this, congratulations are pouring in for Anshu Malika from the netizens. The Global Entrepreneurship Festival was held in Lagos, Nigeria. Anshu Malika received the Global Entrepreneur Award in the Social Impact category at this event. Anshu Malika has earned recognition in many fields as a writer, coder, marathon runner, and social entrepreneur.
Anshu Malika, who started coding at the age of seven, wrote a research paper on the topic of face recognition using deep learning by the age of 17. This research paper was published in the International Journal of Research. She also studied computer science at Indiana University, Bloomington.
It comes as no surprise that she has been impactful with her work in technology. She established initiatives like ‘Transforming Life with Coding’ to teach others how to solve real-life problems through programming. She lent her experience at ‘Code Connect Namibia,’ organized by The African Connection, to provide youth with coding skills.
She also wrote poems and short stories under the name The Flame in My Heart. In recognition of Anshu Malika’s efforts for women’s empowerment, she was also awarded the Aaj Ki Umania Award. Recently, she received the Global Entrepreneur Award in the Social Impact category.
These global entrepreneurship awards are given based on factors such as innovation, impact, sustainability, and scalability.
