Chief Minister Revanth Reddy announced that Telangana is aiming to become a one trillion dollar state economy in the next ten years. He said that Hyderabad has become the world capital of life sciences and there are world-renowned pharma, healthcare companies, life sciences and biotech companies in Hyderabad.
He inaugurated the two-day Bio Asia conference at the HICC in Hyderabad and said that BioAsia is attracting people from home and abroad as an event that not only sets the future of the healthcare sector but also guides the world.
Revanth said that his government is working with the vision of encouraging companies that provide research and new innovations from the beginning. He said that Genome Valley has been established with the efforts of experts.
He said that huge projects including Future City and AI City are coming up in Hyderabad and Hyderabad has become the capital of electric vehicles in India. He expressed happiness that the highest sales of EVs in the country have been recorded in Hyderabad. He said that 3,000 electric buses are being brought into the RTC in Telangana.
“We will make it a manufacturing hub from ORR to RRR. We will make it one of the largest manufacturing centers in the world. We will develop it as a center to meet the needs of China Plus One. We will invite investments from all over the world”, he said.
“We will connect ORR and RRR with radial roads. We will develop clusters on both sides of the radial roads. We will develop a mega dry port in the state. We will provide special rail and road transport to connect it to the port in AP,” Revanth Reddy added.
The Chief Minister wanted Hyderabad to become a center for innovation, research, manufacturing, and skills. He said that Amazon has expanded its operations in Hyderabad. He suggested that the companies should avail the facilities here and get government support. He said that they are requesting giant companies to partner with them.
