Revanth Reddy Alleges Kishan Reddy Blocked Hyd Metro Expansion Issue At The Union cabinet

Alleging Union Minister Kishan Reddy is a `business partner’ of BRS executive president KT Rama Rao, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy made sensational comments accusing him of preventing the Hyderabad Metro expansion issue from coming before the Union Cabinet.

Making this allegation soon after meeting the Prime Minister Narendra Modi gained prominence. He said that he appealed on 5 main issues during the meeting with the Prime Minister. They are cooperating in Metro expansion, Regional Ring Road cum Rail Project, Dry Port and Defense Sector Projects.

Lamenting that Kishan Reddy is working for KCR, he said that Kishan Reddy blocked Metro expansion projects in the union cabinet, fearing that will bring fame to him, as KCR failed in this issue. He made it clear that now it will be the responsibility of two union ministers from the state Kishan Reddy and Bandi Sanjay Kumar to get clearance from the union cabinet for the issues he mentioned with the Prime Minister.

If Kishan Reddy helped in getting the nod of the union cabinet, the Chief Minister said that he will facilitate him at a public meeting and will also offer `gandapenderam’ to him. He recalled that no by-elections were needed during the previous BRS regime; even MLAs from other parties were inducted into the state cabinet.

Referring to BJP leaders demand for a CBI probe against corruption charges on BRS leaders, Revanth Reddy predicted that if the CBI investigation instituted, BJP will force BRS to merge with their party on that excuse.

Meanwhile, during his meeting with the Prime Minister, the Chief Minister said that there was no discussion on the caste census. “We think we will discuss it after the bill is passed in the Assembly. The Prime Minister said that restoring the rivers is a good idea”, he added.

He wondered over the death of KTR’s business partner Kedar and asked why KTR did not demand an investigation into it. Stating that Kedar is an accused in the Radisson case, he asked what is the mystery behind the successive deaths of those associated with the cases? He recalled the deaths of first Sanjeeva Reddy, then Rajalingam, and now Kedar. He said the government will investigate if they receive any complaint.
