Rebel MP Raghuram Is Certain To Contest, But His Party Remains In Suspense!

‘Rebel YSRCP MP’ from Narasapur, K Raghuramakrishnam Raju’s contest in the ensuing Lok Sabha election is certain from his own constituency. After his recent formal resignation from the ruling YSRCP, he is yet to join another party.

But, he has been stating since a long time and will be contesting as a combined candidate of the newly formed TDP, Jana Sena and BJP alliance. He has proximity with the top leadership of these three parties. In fact, earlier he was in TDP and BJP, before switching to YSRCP ahead of 2019 polls and becoming its MP.

Though seat adjustment between three parties was finalized on Monday night, names of constituencies for each party to be contested are yet to be revealed officially. As Jana Sena is only contesting from two constituencies, and names of those two constituencies- Kakinada and Machilipatnam were also revealed, there may not be any chance of Ramakrishnam Raju contesting as Jana Sena candidate.

In the past BJP has won twice from Narasapuram, in alliance with TDP. First time in 2019 cine actor Krishnam Raju has won from here as BJP candidate and he was also in Vajpayee’s cabinet. In 2014 also, BJP’s Gokaraju Ranga Raju won from here.

According to sources, Chandrababu Naidu has suggested TDP leaders to take this constituency and field Raghurama Krishnam Raju from here as BJP’s candidate. However, BJP leaders are said to be not keen on this constituency.

If so, TDP is ready to field Raju as its candidate from Narasapuram. Ultimately, Ramakrishnam Raju will join BJP or TDP depending on the party contesting from here, as part of seats sharming between these two parties.

Amit Shah gave a target of 12 LS seats in Telangana!

Union Home Minister and key political strategist of BJP Amit Shah has given a target of winning 12 of total 17 Lok Sabha seats in Telangana in the ensuing Lok Sabha elections.

Addressing BJP’s Social Media warriors meeting in Hyderabad on Tuesday, he said they should convince people of Telangana through their social media postings that a vote of BRS and Congress will be wasted, as none of them are likely to play any role in the next government at the center.

Expressing his confidence that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be the next prime minister, for the third consecutive term, he asked them to explain success stories of the Modi government to every citizen of the state.

Asserting that BJP is certain to win over 400 Lok Sabha seats in the next Lok Sabha, Amit Shah said after recent defeat in the Assembly polls BRS has no political relevance in the state. On the other hand, he said the Congress government’s six guarantees remained on paper only.

He recalled that wherever goes, people are appreciating the performance of Modi’s government as it is fulfilling all its promises. He said during the last 10 years, the government has taken several courageous decisions.

The Home Minister said that both BRS and Congress leaders are facing several severe corrupt allegations, whereas not a single such charge was made by anyone against Prime Minister Modi.

He said that during the BJP regime, the country’s economy improved to a great extent, making it the fifth largest economy in the world and bound to become the third largest economy in a couple of years.

Amit Shah asked social media warriors to spread BJP’s performance and message to every household in the state, so as to prepare them to vote for the party.
