The wait is almost over for Pushpa 2! Fans have been eagerly counting down the days, and now the highly-anticipated sequel is set to storm theaters on December 5. Ahead of this, the makers are holding a grand trailer launch event on November 17 in Patna, promising fans an exciting glimpse of what’s to come.
Rashmika Mandanna, who won hearts with her role as Srivalli in Pushpa 1, shared a nostalgic post about the journey so far. “With the trailer for Pushpa 2 coming soon, memories of Pushpa 1 came rushing back,” she posted, along with some never-before-seen photos. These included a look-test snap of her Srivalli character, a shot with Allu Arjun in Russia, and moments with director Sukumar and the production team, plus a behind-the-scenes video from the iconic “Saami” song. Rashmika even revealed that she traveled to Tirupati to research her character’s essence for a more authentic portrayal.
Director Sukumar is pulling out all the stops to make Pushpa Part 2 live up to the hype, and just like his other movies, this one includes a special song, “Kissick.” This upbeat number will feature Allu Arjun alongside actress Sreeleela, adding even more flair. Scheduled to premiere at Patna’s iconic Gandhi Maidan, the trailer will also go live on social media at precisely 6:03 PM.
The scale of Pushpa 2’s release is also record-breaking! Industry insiders reveal that it will debut on a staggering 11,500 screens worldwide, making it the largest release for any Indian film to date.
