Hyderabad: Actress Rashmika Mandanna, widely recognised for her performances in blockbuster films and popularly known as the ‘National Crush’, is celebrating her birthday today. To mark the occasion, the production teams of her upcoming films Kubera and The Girlfriend extended birthday greetings with exclusive content releases.
The team of The Girlfriend was among the first to convey wishes, unveiling a teaser audio track titled “Reyi Lolothula.” The song features vocals by Hesham Abdul Wahab, Chinmayi Sripaada, and Vijay Deverakonda, with lyrics penned by Rakendu Mouli. Notably, director Rahul Ravindran contributed a poetic segment to the track.
Sharing the teaser on social media, director Rahul Ravindran wrote, “Happy Birthday, dear Rashmika. You are truly precious. May God bless you. Wishing you love, joy, and good health always. The teaser from The Girlfriend is now out.”
Presented by producer Allu Aravind, the film stars Rashmika Mandanna alongside Dheekshith Shetty in lead roles. The film is written and directed by Rahul Ravindran, with music by Hesham Abdul Wahab and cinematography by Krishnan Vasant.
Meanwhile, the team of Kubera, directed by Shekhar Kammula, released a behind-the-scenes video featuring Rashmika on the film’s sets. The film’s production house, Sri Venkateswara Cinemas LLP, took to social media to share the visuals and extend their wishes.
“Wishing our beautiful Rashmika a very Happy Birthday. Just like your impactful performance in Kubera, may your special day be filled with happiness,” the team tweeted.
Kubera features music composed by Devi Sri Prasad and cinematography by Niketh Bommi. The film is co-written by Chaitanya Pingali and is scheduled for theatrical release on June 20.
