Mumbai: Director Nitesh Tiwari’s ambitious project Ramayana, featuring Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram and Sai Pallavi as Sita, has completed a crucial schedule in Mumbai. Kannada star Yash, portraying Ravana, participated in key scenes alongside Ranbir Kapoor during this schedule.
The next phase of filming is set to commence in Mumbai next week, with large-scale battle sequences featuring Yash and other principal cast members.
Planned as a two-part epic, Ramayana is scheduled for release in two phases—Part 1 in Diwali 2026 and Part 2 in Diwali 2027. The film also stars Sunny Deol, Rakul Preet Singh, and Lara Dutta in pivotal roles.
Given its adaptation of the revered epic, Ramayana has generated significant pan-India anticipation across all audience segments.
