Ramayana Title, Teaser Set For July 3 Unveil

Ramayana: Part One, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi, is promising to be one of the most awaited Indian movies of 2025–26. Helmed by Nitesh Tiwari, the movie already has a huge buzz surrounding it, courtesy its grand scale, mythological storyline, and the top-notch cast. But so far, the makers have kept it low-key when it comes to promotions, which has kept fans intrigued and more eagerly waiting for news.

That silence is finally about to be broken. According to latest reports, the team is all set to officially release the film’s title and logo digitally on July 3. This is the first official announcement for the project and will officially launch its marketing campaign. It’s supposed to provide audiences with their first glimpse into the world Tiwari and his team have been creating for the past three years.

To add to the buzz, a nearly three-minute-long teaser is apparently in the making for release. The teaser is said to provide a breathtaking glimpse of the visually stunning, emotionally charged world that the director has created on canvas — marrying the spiritual depth of the Ramayana with contemporary cinematic spectacle. Although the release remains over a year away, the producers are reportedly going slow and tactical on the promo front, building the buzz step by step.

The movie is being developed as a two-part saga. Part One will hit the screens during Diwali 2026, and Part Two during Diwali 2027. The film is made to remake the eternal Indian epic in a new cinematic vocabulary — merging high-quality visual effects, immersive narrative, and grounded cultural imagery to engage with modern-day audiences.

The cast unites some of the finest actors. Ranbir Kapoor is Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi is Sita, Ravi Dubey is Lakshmana, Yash is the intimidating Ravana, and Sunny Deol is Hanuman. With such a strong cast and a visionary director driving the project, Ramayana is being touted as a possible landmark in Indian cinema — a film that can reinvent the mythological genre for a new generation.
