Ram Charan is set to make a comeback on the big screen with his next film Peddi, a historical village sports drama helmed by Buchibabu Sana, who rose to fame with Uppena. The film is being made on an elaborate scale by Venkata Satish Kilaru and is being presented by Mythri Movie Makers in association with Sukumar Writings, generating huge excitement among audience even before release.
Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor will play the female lead, with Shivaraj Kumar, Kannada superstar, Divyendu Sharma, of Mirzapur popularity, and Jagapathi Babu playing crucial roles in the movie. Ram Charan has completely transformed to play the role never-seen-before mass look that has people excited.
Peddi has already created a buzz, and audience members are sure that the movie is going to be a blockbuster. Makers have announced a March 27, 2026 release, coinciding with Ram Charan’s birthday.
As per sources, almost 60% of the shooting of the film has been completed, with half of it nearly done. Surprisingly, the team is editing and shooting parallel to each other, cutting through the waiting periods. Now the film will be shot in Pune a song that stars Charan and Janhvi Kapoor. Choreographed by Johnny Master and set to music by music maestro AR Rahman, the song will be an audiovisual extravaganza.
