Known to make a huge splash with his high-octane thriller Kill, director Nikhil Nagesh Bhat is reportedly eyeing a mythological epic and is now targeting Tollywood’s Mega Power Star, Ram Charan, for the same. Kill, which had gained extensive acclaim for its intense, action-packed narrative set on a train, put the director in serious contention as an exciting filmmaker to watch. Now, the word doing the rounds is that he has been talking to Ram Charan for more than six months regarding this ambitious project.
This grand mythological drama is reported to be supported by ace producer Madhu Mantena, known for his grand cinematic productions. According to sources, the film’s pre-visualization has already been completed and the makers are keen on going ahead with the project. An official announcement, however, would be done only after finalising the script.
Ram Charan is currently focused on RC16, directed by Buchi Babu Sana, with the shoot progressing at a breakneck speed. Janhvi Kapoor is expected to join the sets soon. Meanwhile, Charan’s next project, RC17, depends on how soon Sukumar finalizes the script. If there are delays in RC17, Charan might fast-track his collaboration with Nikhil Nagesh Bhat as RC18.
Adding weight to the speculation, fans recently noticed that Nikhil Nagesh Bhat has started following Ram Charan on Instagram, further fueling curiosity about their potential collaboration. After spending nearly three years on Game Changer, Charan is now strategically planning his future films to expand his market presence.
