The filming of Ram Charan’s upcoming rural sports drama Peddi, directed by Buchi Babu Sana, is progressing at a brisk pace. In a recent update, the director revealed that a high-octane action sequence featuring Ram Charan and Bollywood actor Divyenndu Sharma is currently being shot. Behind-the-scenes photos shared by Buchi Babu and Ram Charan on social media have attracted widespread attention online.
Peddi, which marks Ram Charan’s 16th film, features Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead. The film is being produced jointly by Mythri Movie Makers, Vriddhi Cinemas, and Sukumar Writings. Approximately 30% of the shoot has been completed, with key scenes currently underway. Set against a rural backdrop with a cricket-based narrative, the film also stars Shiva Rajkumar and Jagapathi Babu in prominent roles. Peddi is scheduled for theatrical release on March 27, 2026.
