Ram Charan’s collaboration with director Buchi Babu Sana has been generating significant buzz, with updates hinting at a powerful and unique narrative. Produced by Kilaru Satish under Vriddhi Cinemas, the film is presented by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings. Bollywood star Janhvi Kapoor has been cast opposite Ram Charan, while musical maestro A.R. Rahman is composing the soundtrack.
The film, set in a period backdrop with a sports-centric storyline, will see Ram Charan in the role of a sportsperson. Currently referred to as RC 16, sources suggest the makers are leaning toward the title Peddi, which reportedly aligns with a key aspect of the story and reflects its mass appeal.
Filming began recently in Mysore but is on hold as Ram Charan focuses on promoting his upcoming film, Game Changer. Shooting is set to resume on January 27 in a specially designed set in Hyderabad.
Cinematography is handled by Rathnavelu, while seasoned actor Jagapathi Babu will appear in a crucial role. To heighten the anticipation, the makers are planning a grand reveal of the title and a special glimpse in March, coinciding with Ram Charan’s birthday.
