Popular choreographer-turned-actor-director Raghava Lawrence has announced a heartwarming initiative — converting his very first home into a school that will offer free education to underprivileged children. The actor said the project is being funded from the advance he received for his upcoming horror-comedy film Kanchana 4.
Lawrence revealed that one of the students who grew up in the same house will soon serve as a teacher at the school. Sharing his joy on social media, he said, “This house is very special to me. I built it with the money I earned as a dance master. It once served as an orphanage, and many who stayed there are now well-settled. Dedicating it to children’s education now gives me immense pride. I hope for your blessings on this new journey.”
Lawrence’s Emotional Appeal to Help Elderly Man
Alongside this announcement, Lawrence also made an emotional appeal to the public, seeking help in locating an 80-year-old man whose story moved him. The elderly man reportedly sells homemade snacks prepared by his wife on trains to make a living.
“I want to donate one lakh rupees to support him, but I couldn’t trace him despite trying. If anyone knows about him, please share the details. If you spot him on any train, please buy his sweets and support him,” Lawrence urged in his post.
