In Mahbubnagar, authorities recently demolished homes of the poor, prompting BRS leader R.S. Praveen Kumar to question why similar actions have not been taken against illegal constructions at the Durgam Cheruvu, where Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s brother, Tirupathi Reddy, resides. Praveen Kumar criticized the selective justice, arguing that while environmental conservation is important, it should not come at the expense of the poor who face unjust demolition without notice.
He expressed outrage over the demolition of homes in the Palamuru blind colony and questioned the Chief Minister’s inaction. Additionally, Praveen Kumar accused Revanth Reddy’s administration of neglecting gurukuls and failing to address education issues. He highlighted disparities in government spending, with higher allocations for prisoners’ food compared to students, and demanded improvements in gurukul facilities.
