The theatrical trailer of the most awaited sequel ‘Pushpa : The Rule’ is out just a while ago during the massive pre-release event in Patna and it is worth the long wait because Allu Arjun dominates from the onset to the end with his inimitable swag and ultra mass mannerisms as he takes on the irreverent and maverick cop Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat in an ultimate showdown.
The two-minute-forty-eight second trailer showcases Allu Arjun as a people’s hero and entirely focuses on elevating him as an infamous smuggler who is no longer confined to just national level but the most wanted all over globe. In every frame when Allu Arjun appears, there are huge number of supporters behind him which hints that he transforms from anti-hero to people’s hero in the sequel.
The trailer offers a mass feast with a right mix of hero elevation scenes, love track between the lead pair, grand action episodes, intense dialogues and confrontation of the hero and the main antagonist with plenty of whistle worthy scenes. Beyond all this, it is Allu Arjun’s one man show with terrific screen presence that stands out to make the trailer absolutely riveting.
Some of the catchy dialogues in the trailer include ‘Pushpa is not a name, it is a brand’, ‘Pushpa ante National anukunnava, kadhu international’, ‘Pushpa ante fire aa kadhu wildfire’.
Allu Arjun seems to have once again pulled off a meaty role with his trademark body language and appealing mannerisms which are likely to play to the galleries in mass centres. On the other side, Fahad Fasil is very much up to the task to settle his scores with Pushparaj no matter how intimidating he turns with the syndicate. He matches Allu Arjun’s intensity with his impeccable acting mettle.
Rashmika Mandanna charms as a village belle and her scenes with Allu Arjun are a treat to watch. Others like Sunil, Anasuya, Jagadeesh, Dhananjaya and Rao Ramesh will be reprising their parts once again.
It is obvious that Sukumar has raised the stakes a notch higher than the first part in terms of story and budget going by what he packed in the trailer. Set in the backdrop of red sanders smuggling in the Seshachalam Hills of Andhra Pradesh, Pushpa: The Rule, as the name suggests will see Pushpa’s reign as he is now the head of smuggling syndicate.
Technically, the trailer is brilliant with regard to the superlative background score rendered by Devi Sri Prasad and the stunning visuals captured by Miroslaw Kuba Brozek.
Overall, the trailer of Pushpa 2 has got the fire and ammo to shoot the expectations to a whole new level. The sequel will create no doubt create a havoc with its openings all over the globe and if it garners positive talk, sky is the limit for the box office collections.
