Purandeswari says Double Engine sarkar pushing AP Into Development

BJP state president Daggubati Purandeswari said that Andhra Pradesh has been witnessing massive development programs realizing their promises during elections that better governance would be possible for the people if a double engine government is in power.

Presiding over the party’s state executive meeting held at the BJP state office in Vijayawada, she described the previous   YSRCP rule as being full of hatred and lack of progress.  Purandeshwari said that the state is coming out of the difficulties of the last five years with the double engine government.

She said that the NDA alliance is providing good governance to the country, and Modi, Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan are moving forward in coordination with the state.

She explained that Rs. 15,000 crores were given for the stalled Polavaram project, Rs. 12,500 crores were being given to the capital of Amaravati from ADB, Rs. 11,000 crores from HUDCO, financial assistance was being provided for the improvement of dilapidated roads, Rs. 4,800 crores were given to Panchayat Raj, and Rs. 7,200 crores were released as tax devolution funds.

Asserting that the Centre is committed to poverty alleviation and the Central Government is providing support to MSMEs, Purandeswari recalled that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had asked the top 500 companies in the country to provide employment to one crore unemployed people. In that spirit, she said that CM Chandrababu Naidu had called on the rich to help the poor in the state.

She said that the Central Government and the State Government are moving forward in parallel in implementing development and welfare programs. She accused the people of being inconvenienced for five years without any room for development.

She said that the state was pushed into a debt trap and everyone has experienced how bad the condition of the roads was. She deplored that hatred increased during the YSRCP rule and atrocity cases were illegally registered against those who spoke out.

But, she said that the BJP has raised its voice on these issues and cases are now being registered on the issues they raised, and their argument is being proven to be true.

Purandeshwari, who met the new district presidents of the party and invited guests, discussed the organizational aspects and political activities of the party and gave direction. She mainly discussed the organization of the party’s formation day on April 6 and the celebration of Ambedkar Jayanti on the 14th. She made several suggestions to the leaders on the organization of six programs at the polling booth level.
