Purandeshwari says BJP Has The Leadership To Make Impossible possible

BJP state president and MP Daggubati Purandeshwari said that BJP has the leadership to make the impossible possible. On the occasion of the birth anniversary of former Deputy Prime Minister Jagjivan Ram at the AP BJP state office, garlanding his portrait and paying tributes, she recalled that Jagjivan Ram started the current PDS system.

She recalled that while our soldiers were being killed, they went to the neighboring country and killed terrorist organizations and said that Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of India. She emphasized that those who came as refugees were given citizenship and shelter.

She said that the 500-year-old dream of Indians to build a Ram temple has been fulfilled. She said that triple talaq has been abolished and Muslim women have been given freedom. She also mentioned that the BJP-led NDA government has also passed the Wakf Amendment Act Bill in Parliament.

She clarified that Modi is the one who has done the credit for their welfare, not just talking about Muslims. She said that changes have been made to make the Waqf Board more efficient in its responsibilities, but no changes have been made in religious matters.

Purandeswari said that changes have been made to check whether the lands given to devotees are being used properly or not. She pointed out that the then Congress government amended the Wakf Act a few months before the 2013 elections, weakening the Minority Board and creating a division among minorities so that those who wanted to set up boards could do so.

She criticized the UPA government in 2013 for doing vote bank politics at that time. Expressing her objection to Sonia Gandhi’s criticism that the Wakf Bill was passed without proper discussion, Daggubati Purandeswari asked whether Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi were present in the House when this discussion took place?

She reminded that the bill was passed in Parliament at 3 am after leaders from all parties expressed their views and the bill was passed in the Rajya Sabha at 4 am the next day. She also questioned how they expressed their views on these without being present in the House?

Purandeswari reminded that there is no representation of women in the Waqf Board and that the backward Muslim minority has no representation in the Wakf Board. Stating that all of them have now been given representation through the amendment bill, she questioned how that could be wrong? She clarified that the people should teach the parties that played with the lives of Muslims for political gain.

She criticized the YSRCP for showing a double standard by asking them to support the amendment bill in the Lok Sabha and giving a whip in the Rajya Sabha and supporting it too much.
