BJP state president and MP Daggubati Purandeswari said that the annual budget (AP Budget 2025) presented by the coalition government is in the public interest. She believed that education, healthcare and Panchayat Raj departments have been given a big place.
She said that the central government has been providing adequate support to the state, which has been disintegrating and drowning in debt for five years, from the beginning. “The 2025-26 budget presented by the Andhra Pradesh government is in the public interest. Earlier, there were only scams. Now schemes are being implemented,” she praised.
She said that her party MLAs will participate in the budget discussions and make their voice heard. Purandeswari said that the BJP will be the voice of the people, as indicated by her party president JP Nadda from the beginning.
At the Vijayawada BJP state office, doctors Durga Srilakshmi and Pawan Kumar, along with pediatric specialists Dr. Sridevi, of Amma Hospital in the West constituency, joined the BJP in the presence of local MLA Sujana Chowdhury.
Purandeswari, who covered them with party scarves, warmly welcomed them into the party. She said that her party members will constructively address the problems of the people. He said that the central government has been providing flawless governance during the 11-year Modi regime.
The MP said that if the elections are held now, the BJP will get 52 percent votes as per a recent survey conducted by India Today. She said that the growing support among the people for the party is a testament to their blessings.
Adoni MLA Dr. Parthasarathy said that there is a budget to rebuild the financially devastated state and this is a corrective budget. He said that the previous government was in a position where it could not provide its share of funds to take help even though the central government was providing funds. But he said that allocations have been made in this budget for those 74 schemes that have now been stopped.
