The Public Relations Council of India (PRCI) has awarded the utmost prestigious “Hall of Fame in PR” to VSR Naidu in a special award ceremony held as part of its 19th Annual Global Conclave, held in Goa. Pramod Sawant, Chief Minister of Goa, presented the award.
The Public Relations Council of India (PRCI), a pan-India communication exchange forum, has chosen VSR Naidu for induction into the prestigious “Hall of Fame in PR”. While presenting the award, the PRCI National Council has commended VSR Naidu as a dynamic professional dedicated to the cause of Public Relations for over four decades and lauded his remarkable contributions to the field.
After receiving the award, VSR Naidu said that this award had been bestowed upon him as a recognition of his relentless service to the profession and expressed confidence that this recognition would rejuvenate him in continuing the same.
VSR Naidu has served as Chairman of the PRSI Hyderabad Chapter and also the Founder Chairman of the Amaravati Chapter. He also held leadership roles during his service at APTRANSCO as General Manager (Corporate Communications) and as Chief Operations Officer of AP Solar Power Corporation.
He is a distinguished figure with an impressive academic record spanning multiple disciplines. Defying age barriers, he recently completed his Master’s degree in Journalism & Mass Communication from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) with over 70% marks. His excellence in PR has earned him several accolades, with this latest honor adding yet another feather to his cap.
Beyond Public Relations, Naidu has significantly contributed to the field of journalism. He has authored numerous articles in both Telugu and English, writing extensively on the power sector and political issues. His works have appeared prominently on the editorial pages of various leading newspapers, along with reviews and features on PR and journalism.
He was also a panelist on several television channel debates on power. With a strong passion for teaching, he has shared his expertise as a Counselor at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University, as guest faculty at APSEB Training Institute and as a guest speaker at Dr. MCR HRD Institute of Telangana, Sathyabama University (Chennai), and several other reputed institutions.
Besides being a PR professional, VSR Naidu, true to his versatility was also a Stage, TV and Cine artist, not to speak of his being a cricketer too, having served as EC Member of HCA twice.
