Prudhviraj Touches Vijayashanti’s Feet at ‘Arjun S/o Vyjayanthi’ Event

The upcoming film Arjun S/o Vyjayanthi, starring Nandamuri Kalyan Ram and directed by Pradeep Chilukuri, is scheduled for release on April 18. The film features veteran actress Vijayashanti in a key role, with Saiee Manjrekar playing the female lead. The production has completed shooting, and promotional activities are currently underway.

As part of the promotions, the team released a lyrical video titled Muchchataga Bandhale. During the event, Vijayashanti introduced the team members, including actor Babloo Prudhviraj, who greeted her by touching her feet on stage. Referring to her as his elder sister, Prudhviraj said, “I am her beloved younger brother,” a statement that quickly gained traction on social media.

The moment sparked curiosity among netizens about the duo’s earlier collaborations. Prudhviraj, who debuted in Telugu cinema with Pelli in 1997, has acted in over 200 films across Tamil and Malayalam languages. He appeared alongside Vijayashanti in the 1999 film Rajasthan, and later played her brother in Vyjayanthi.

Reflecting on his career, Prudhviraj stated, “I’ve seen many struggles in the film industry. My life changed after Animal, but the most challenging and rewarding role of my career is in Arjun S/o Vyjayanthi. During the shoot of Rajasthan, Vijayashanti garu never hesitated to reshoot a scene until it was perfect.”

The film is backed by prominent production houses and is expected to deliver a mix of emotional depth and action, with Vijayashanti’s character playing a pivotal role.
