Director Anil Ravipudi has joined the Sankranthi race with his upcoming film ‘Sankranthi Ki Vasthunam’ starring Victory Venkatesh, Aishwarya Rajesh, and Meenakshi Chaudhary in the lead roles. Recently, the film team announced the release date, revealing that the movie is scheduled to hit theaters on January 14, 2025. The film is set to compete with other Pongal releases like Ram Charan’s political thriller ‘Game Changer’ and Balakrishna’s ‘Daku Maharaj’.
Following the release date announcement, Naga Vamsi, the producer of ‘Daku Maharaj’, took to social media to extend his best wishes to the team of Sankranthi Ki Vasthunam, while playfully referencing their friendly rivalry. Vamsi tweeted on his X, “Wishing our dearest @VenkyMama garu & #DilRaju garu a blockbuster with #SankrantikiVasthunnam. It has been memorable competing with you for the last two outings. The competition reignited again in Dussehra 2023, with Anil’s ‘Bhagavanth Kesari’ and Naga Vamsi’s distribution of Vijay Thalapathy’s ‘Leo’. Now, the firendly rivalry at the box office continues with their upcoming films, adding excitement to festival releases.
