Producer Naga Vamsi Fires Back At Negative Reviews on MAD Square

The sequel to the popular film MAD, titled MAD Square, starring Nithiin Narne, Sangeeth Shobhan, and Ram Nithiin, has taken the box office by storm. Directed by Kalyan Shankar and produced by Naga Vamsi, the film was released as a grand Ugadi special, much to the excitement of its audience.

Although MAD Square initially faced mixed reviews, it has now become a box office sensation, raking in impressive collections both in the Telugu states and abroad. Recently, in a press meet, producer Naga Vamsi addressed the ongoing negative discussions surrounding the film and made it clear that he won’t tolerate misleading posts and fake reviews.

Naga Vamsi strongly refuted claims that MAD Square is doing well simply because it is a sequel. He clarified, “It’s not true that MAD Square is only being watched because of the lack of competition from other films. A film succeeds because of its content. If the content isn’t strong, audiences won’t show up. This movie isn’t driven by stardom like Baahubali 2 or KGF 2—it’s all about the enjoyment the movie brings to the audience.”

Vamsi also directed his frustration at those who are spreading negativity about the film, despite its growing success. “Why is it so hard to encourage a movie that audiences are enjoying? I’ve been to the theaters myself, and the response has been great. Yet, some people are still posting negative reviews. It’s perplexing,” he said.

He also pointed out the irony that many of these critics benefit from the film industry, with YouTube channels, websites, and social media relying on movie content to fuel their businesses. “If films stop coming, these platforms will have nothing to talk about. Instead of fueling negativity, they should be supporting the industry and promoting good content,” Vamsi added.

Naga Vamsi didn’t hold back in addressing rumors regarding MAD Square’s box office collections, which some have claimed to be inflated. He responded directly, stating, “If anyone doubts the numbers, I challenge them to come and see the proof. I will show them all the evidence. Stop spreading baseless accusations without any facts.”

In a powerful conclusion to his statement, Naga Vamsi sent a clear message to his critics: “If you don’t like my films, don’t watch them. Don’t write articles or reviews about my movies. Don’t take ads from me. I don’t need biased platforms to promote my work—I know exactly how to handle my promotions and will continue doing so.”

Vamsi’s remarks have gone viral, igniting an intense debate online. Both fans and critics are weighing in on his fiery comments, and the controversy continues to stir up conversations across social media.
