Both the experts and police authorities, who have been probing into alleged hidden cameras uproar in the girls washrooms of Gudlavalleru Engineering College have almost concluded no such cameras existed at all. They also identified four engineering students who were responsible for the entire disturbances.
While one student traps girls and records nude calls with them, another hotel rooms with his girlfriend, another person is a one-sided lover and another student wants to see the end of a friend, who cheated his sister.
After an intense probe into allegations that a girl had recorded the nude videos of hostel girl students with hidden cameras and sold them to boys, they found it was a fabricated story.
A team of police officers, consisting of three IGs GVG Ashokkumar, PhD Ramakrishna and M. Ravi Prakash have probed it in depth. IG Ashok Kumar has experience of working in CID and ACB. Ramakrishna, a PhD student in MTech Computer Science, is big on technology. A team including another IG Ravi Prakash is conducting a thorough inspection to uncover the truth.
Sanjay Bahl, director of CERT (Computer Emergency Response Team), a prestigious technical organization in the country, went directly into the field. A team of experts from Sea-Dock in Pune reached Gudlavalleru Engineering College and inspected all the electrical and plumbing equipment in the hostel bathrooms with electronic detectors in the presence of student union leaders and college staff.
The police seized the cellphones and laptops of the two accused students and electronic devices from the possession of two other boys. Along with them, they analyzed the Wi-Fi routers in the hostel. Wherever the hidden camera is placed, the network user should transmit them to the outside via Wi-Fi only.
If the hotspot of mobile phones is taken, the CERT and C-Doc team are also engaged in determining who gave the hotspot to whom. However, it is known that the experts and the police have come to the conclusion that there is no truth in the fears of hidden cameras so far.
It is reported that the police officials have sensed that only four students were involved in the dispute. Vijay, a student who lures girls in the name of love, is having an affair with another student in the same college. Making nude video calls is a daily habit for them. But Vijay used to record them without his girlfriend’s knowledge.
Vijay’s friend was looking at his phone one day when he saw nude videos of girls. Soon Vijay conveyed this matter to another friend, who is a one-sided lover of that girl. That girl became angry with Vijay. Vijay realizing that his friend was responsible for it, he threatened that he is also having nude calls of his sister and he will expose them.
Vijay’s friend immediately complained to the college principal. When the principal called and inquired, seven or eight photos came out. He warned everyone and closed the dispute. Recently, another video of Vijay with the same young lady came to light, and her friends asked her what it was.
Vijay’s girlfriend who doesn’t want to tell the truth created a story that their washrooms have spy cameras and all girls’ photos were recorded, which went viral. The IGs who started investigating this said that there are no videos even when asked and no one confirms the existence of such videos. Finally, the girl admitted that she only spread such a story.
