Actress Priyamani is set to make her return to the digital space with the legal drama web series Good Wife, directed by actress-filmmaker Revathi. The series, which is an Indian adaptation of the acclaimed American show The Good Wife, will premiere on JioCinema from July 4. It will be available in multiple Indian languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi, Bengali, and Marathi.
The series features Priyamani as Tarunika, a woman forced to resume her legal career after her husband, played by Sampath Raj, is arrested. The recently released Tamil trailer hints at a gripping narrative involving legal battles, personal dilemmas, and a woman’s fight to reclaim her identity. Good Wife marks yet another prominent OTT outing for Priyamani, following her performance in the crime-action film Officer on Duty.
