President Murmu, PM Modi Greeted Telangana people on 12th state Formation Day

Telangana formation celebrations are being held across the state in grand style. This time, the mayor of Kitakyushu City in Japan has come as the chief guest for the celebrations. The state has completed 11 years of formation and is entering its 12th year. On the occasion of Formation Day, government offices and historical places are illuminated with electric lamps.

First, CM Revanth Reddy paid tribute to the martyrs at the Gun Park Martyrs’ Stupa. He placed bouquets at the Martyrs’ Stupa and paid his respects. Governor Jishnu Dev Verma participated in the State Formation Day celebrations held at Raj Bhavan. The Governor unfurled the national flag.

President Draupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted the people of the state on this occasion. The President said that the young state has a rich cultural heritage, a modern ecosystem with strong economic and technological development. Draupadi Murmu urged the people of Telangana to move forward on the path of development and prosperity.

Prime Minister Modi described the state as famous for its innumerable contributions to national progress. He commented that in the last decade, the NDA government has taken many steps to increase the ‘ease of living’ of the people of the state. Modi asked the people of the state to be blessed with success and prosperity.

AP Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu stressed that despite the differences in the Telugu states, the Telugu people and the Telugu nation are one. He said that his idea and aspiration is that the Telugu people should rise to the top wherever they are. He extended his best wishes to the people of Telangana who are celebrating their 12th Statehood Day.

He said that he wants every family in the state of Telangana to live happily and move on the path of development. The two Telugu states are competing in development and should reach the top by Vikasit Bharat-2047 and the Telugu nation should stand as an undisputed force.

AP Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan extended his best wishes to the people of Telangana. “The land that gave birth to the Jana Sena Party, the land that gave me rebirth, the land that filled me with the spirit of movement, the land that Dasarathi Krishnamacharya praised as the ‘veena of my Telangana’ is my Telangana. Telangana is a state formed with the sacrifices of students and youth, as a reflection of the hopes and aspirations of three and a half crore people and decades of struggle”, he said.
