Reigning pan-India superstar Prabhas is riding the crest of a success wave after scoring back-to-back hits with Salaar and Kalki 2898AD. The phenomenal box office numbers of both these blockbusters once again proved that the Baahubali star is undoubtedly the biggest crowd puller in the country. While his latest release Kalki is on a record-breaking spree, the anticipation for his upcoming films seems to be building further.
After Kalki, the next release for Prabhas is going to Tollywood director Maruthi’s horror thriller ‘ The Raja Saab’. Reportedly, the film is expected to hit the screens in the first half of next year. Prabhas will resume the shooting formalities shortly and the entire part will be finished by the end of this year.
Meanwhile, Prabhas is gearing up to commence two more biggies later this year. As per reliable reports, the Saaho actor is planning to kick start ‘Animal’ fame director Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s cop drama Spirit and talented director Hanu Raghavapudi’s period drama before the end of this year.
Both Sandeep and Hanu are currently busy working on the scripts for these two films. While Hanu’s film will go on floors in October, Sandeep’s project might start rolling in December. There is no clarity on which film will release first. But, sources close to Prabhas revealed that he will shoot for both films simultaneously.
On the other side, Prabhas will need to complete the sequels for both Salaar and Kalki 2898AD. As of now, he will initially concentrate on completing his committed projects first.
